Ras El Hanout Turkey Wraps- serves 4-6
This is so healthy, as the turkey breast is such a lean meat. My children were begging me to make this again! I served it in flat breads with pickles, shredded lettuce and carrots and the obligatory hummus.
I always let my children choose their own fillings from a selection on the table, which makes this a much more fun way for them to eat.
Ingredients:
850g cubed turkey breast
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp Ras-El-Hanout spice mix
1 onion, sliced
2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Method:
-
Fry the onion in 1 tbsp oil for around 3 mins or until just beginning to colour.
-
Meanwhile mix the garlic paste, spices and 1 tbsp oil in a bowl and massage until the meat is well covered.
-
Add the turkey and fry with the onion on a low heat, until the turkey is cooked through. This should take no more than 7-10 mins, stirring every few mins. Don't make the mistake of over cooking as the turkey will dry out.
-
Serve with salads of your choice and warmed flatbreads.
